- PublicDisney Buys LucasFilm today. Star Wars 7 is in the works.
For me this is actually a dream come true. I've always loved Star Wars and so do my kids. I never want to see it end. George Lucas is keeping his promise to "not do any more". Disney will take his treatments and manuscripts for the next few films after Return of the Jedi and take it from where he left off. Filmmaking and Visual effects have gotten very good. Can't wait to see where the franchise goes from here.
Best of all, I now have a chance at working on a star wars film in the future. :D
