This is very inspiring. 40 years ago, Coca Cola, launched one of the most successful ad campaigns in history.

The same man behind that campaign (Harvey Gabor), was asked by Google to re-imagine his same campaign for the digital age.

It's just one of 4 different campaigns chosen in Google's Project RE: Brief. Can America's most iconic advertising campaigns be re-imagined for the web?

See the journey and the result. Then, buy the world a coke. :)

In 2011, Google partnered with four global brands in an advertising experiment. The goal was simple - how can the ideas that defined the advertising industry in its infancy, inspire a whole new generation of creatives and marketers? We re-imagined and remade their most iconic ad campaigns from the 1960's and 1970's with today's technology, led by the creative legends who made these campaigns. See how Harvey Gabor, original Art Director of Coca-Cola's "Hilltop" came out of retirement to once again re-imagine his iconic ad in a film presented by Google and directed by Doug Pray.
