Toy Story 3 (2010 movie)

Toy Story 3 (2010 movie): Is Toy Story 3 appropriate for a 3.5-year-old?

He's seen the first two and *loves* them... but I've heard random bits and bobs about some stuff in the third that sounds like nightmare-fodder.

My son is 3 1/2, and can be a bit sensitive to these things and after watching it I decided not to take him to see it, mainly because of the part where the toys all look like they are going to die near the end which goes on for quite a while. I think he is on the sensitive side of the spectrum though, another child might love it.
